2023 Annual Conference

Info: This conference gives controllers, deputies, and their solicitors the opportunity to participate in roundtable discussions and receive training on various topics related to the responsibilities of the controller’s office and county government. The Annual Conference focuses on higher level topics aimed at the responsibilities of the controller. The attendees of the conference will be eligible to receive Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits for their attendance and participation at the conference.

2024 New Controller Workshop – TBD

When: February, 2024

Where: TBD

Info: This workshop invites the newly elected county controllers and their deputies to meet with members of the controller’s association and receive training focused on the duties of the controller. Topics covered will include duties of the controller, board responsibilities, financial reports, the County Code (and Home Rule), governmental accounting, and other best practices. This workshop is a crash course on major topics that newly elected controllers need to know for their responsibilities as county controller.
