Info: This workshop invites the newly elected county controllers and their deputies to meet with members of the controller’s association and receive training focused on the duties of the controller. Topics covered will include duties of the controller, board responsibilities, financial reports, the County Code (and Home Rule), governmental accounting, and other best practices. This workshop is a crash course on major topics that newly elected controllers need to know for their responsibilities as county controller.
